Fantastic experience with Sophie. First time for me visiting a physio. Sophie was welcoming, polite and knowledgeable and more importantly has helped the pain in my shoulder, so much!

Jack is an excellent Physiotherapist. In one session I went from struggling to stand up straight, to being able to walk fairly freely. I have booked a repeat session and am confident this will help me much further along the road to recovery.

Having made an appointment for ongoing glute pain that was putting a put a stop to my running, Jack didn't to detect the culprit in my piriformis. Massage and acupuncture saw an almost instant result in relief and I came away with an exercise plan, which he emailed me within an hour. The pain has almost entirely disappeared and I have had one follow-up treatment with acupuncture, again to cement the recovery. You've done me well, Jack! Thank you for your professional approach, efficiency and value for money.
Alex Shamrock
I can highly recommend Jack at Winchester Physio & Health. I had been suffering from reoccurring migraines and medication was only providing temporary relief. Jack treated the area with massage and acupuncture. The improvement was instant and I have not had a migraine since. Jack is highly professional, personable and the treatment space is excellent making it an enjoyable experience as well.
Antony Robinson
Jack has been nothing short of brilliant during assessment of my injury to treatment and checking I’ve been progressing after. I’ve been to a lot of physios in my past and Jack’s knowledge & experience puts him top. I couldn’t recommend him enough to anybody seeking help.
Laura Towey
Excellent facility, great availability for appointments and really knowledgeable and supportive.Jack's been helping me to recover from an ankle sprain and get back to playing netball. The on-site treatment is great and the work i am given to do at home is realistic and achievable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Gerri Besgrove
Having been referred by Orthopeadic Surgeon Simon Thompson following a torn meniscus and ACL, Jack was instrumental in both my prehab and rehab following surgery. Jack is brilliant at getting to the root of an issue and creating a realistic program to solve it. He's thorough and passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for his clients - he's brilliant!

Physiotherapy FAQs

What does a Physiotherapist do?

Physiotherapists treat and resolve an injured or painful part of the body. Our physios use a range of skills from hands-on treatment to exercise prescription and ensure they have assessed thoroughly to find the underlying cause.

Types of conditions or injuries someone might see a physio for include:

Back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, hip pain, knee pain, and foot and ankle pain

This is a question we get asked a lot…. and it’s difficult to say. Everyone is different but we take pride in accelerating your recovery and as a result, hope that you don’t need many sessions.

Most clients, depending on their condition, require 4-6 sessions but those with slightly more troubling injuries or those attending for post-op physio typically see us over a longer period.

Once assessed, your physio will be able to explain more about the treatment required but we will always accommodate to your needs and expectations.

We suggest wearing loose clothing, as your physio will want to assess your movement as part of their examination. Ideally, we need to see the area we are treating, so if it is knee related, shorts would be preferred.

Remember, if you would like to bring a friend or family member along to act as a chaperone, please do.
